About Our Founder & Studio
A Passion for Dance Since Childhood
Michelle Picard began her dance journey at the age of four. By the age of nine, she had expanded her training to include ballet, tap, and jazz. Throughout her career, Michelle has had the opportunity to perform at prestigious venues including the National Arts Centre (NAC) and Lansdowne Park, where she performed for the Ottawa Rough Riders.
One of Michelle's most notable achievements was being selected as one of only 12 dancers from a group of 500 applicants to participate in a performance tour throughout Germany. During this two-week experience, the group performed daily in different cities across the country, gaining valuable international performance experience.
Michelle further advanced her professional qualifications by earning teaching certifications in:
R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dance) Ballet
A.D.A.P.T. Tap
A.D.A.P.T. Jazz
